Advanced Wound Care WHEN DO I USE IT? ColActive® Transfer is indicated for management of full and partial thickness wounds including pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, ulcers caused by mixed vascular etiologies, venous ulcers, second degree burns, donor and graft sites, abrasions, dehisced surgical wounds, and traumatic wounds healing by secondary intention. WHAT IS IT? ColActive® Transfer is pliable, absorbent, and biocompatible, and is designed to intimately contact the wound bed and protect it from secondary dressings (i.e. synthetic foam).
ColActive® Transfer has low adherence, which helps minimize wound trauma at dressing changes.
HOW DOES IT WORK? ColActive®
Transfer
Wound Contact Layer ColActive® Transfer contains multiple holes that are evenly distributed across the surface area to allow fluid to pass through without impairment, thus maintaining a balanced moist wound environment which has been shown to be beneficial for wound healing. ColActive® Transfer maintains its structural integrity, in various types of wounds, including under negative pressure for a period of up to 5 days (in vitro data). ondemand_video Videos Description (coming soon . . . )
